Do you remember the days when you could have a lie in, go out when you wanted, eat when and where you wanted and even go to the loo in peace? Yep, those days really did exist but the question is would you really ever want to go back to them?

I thought I had a full life until five and a half years ago when I had my son. Being a first time mum was scary, especially as I had never spent anytime with children. It was like applying for a job that you have absolutely no idea how to do and actually getting it , you muddle through blindly and surprisingly it all works out fine!!

The pressure to be the perfect mum is massive but is there really any such thing as the perfect mum or is it all about individual experiences? I believe that everybody's experience of parenthood is different, we are all, afterall, unique so therefore our experiences and perceptions must be unique.

This is my blog about my experiences of motherhood, the good and the bad, the funny and the sad and the mad moments that every mother has!

Treats for mummy!

How often do we actually spend money or time on ourselves. Well, if you do decide that a wee bit of pampering is in order then please take a look at this website. Coastal Aromas is a business run by a friend of mine in West Kilbride, North Ayrshire. It has literally hundreds of pampering products and offers a fantastic personal service.
